The introductory week pasted surprisingly fast. It started with the arrival of Erasmus students. They were shown around the university, got acquainted and played team building games. Official registration in the university took place on the 2nd day and it was followed by a whole day of lectures that continiued through though the week covering such topics as Legal stay in Lithuania, introduction to Academic ethics at Mykolas Romeris University, tour to library and so much more.

In the middle of the introductory week there were two short trips to  the Vilnius city centre and Trakai. Tour of the city center introduced our new students with the most beautiful places in the city and also covered historical side of it. A trip to Trakai let us enjoy the glory of Trakai castle. After visiting the castle students had a chance to try out Karaite traditional pastries Kibinai and had some free time to explore the city by themselves.

At the end of the week Erasmus students had an opportunity to participate in “Social Auction“ where ESN MRU Vilnius could share household things left by previous students. The hit of the week – weekend trip to Druskininkai! It helped with bonding with new friends, students from different countries had a chance to introduce their countries by making presentations. Afterwards, they went to Aquapark. Even though, the weather messed up plans a little, the bicycle trip was replaced by playing pool and bowling.

Lastly, special thanks to our International office employees that helped us out a lot. Also, huge thanks to our ESN MRU Vilnius mentors!
